This is a funny little bird that my husband has always called a beeper. As you might guess it makes a beeping noise, thus the name. This painting is on a 6x6" cradled board with texture added to give interest to the negative space without taking away from the little bird itself. He always makes me laugh, because from the front he looks like he has a duck bill! This will be available on my website next week.

"Sunflowers and Copper Bucket"

They are always framed for the protection of the glass. The paints often are transparent and sometimes opaque, giving a stained glass appearance under good light.
