KM2582 Fall Glory by Kit Hevron Mahoney (autumn, fall, landscape, original oil painting)
This is a study for a larger painting that I have been commissioned to paint. My collectors had the thrill of watching this come to life as they watched me paint it at Brushstrokes Gallery where my studio is housed with my partners John and Anita. This is when it is such fun to have a working studio-gallery where our collectors and art lovers can come in and watch the creative process of painting.

Oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 24" x 24", $625.-
An experimental painting, utilizing the complementary colors of the subjects rather than the actual colors. The painting continues around the 2" deep corners, which gives it an almost sculptural quality. This painting was a lot of fun to paint, as you can imagine!

"Owl Under Foot" Painting by Coloardo Artist Mary Arneson
Acrylic on a Ceramic Floor Tile
Framed with the back side of Walnut flooring, this piece just says unique! The pattern of this floor tile showed me that a owl was living there and needed to be brought out. Once the painting was done, I happened upon a piece of wood that also showed the face of an owl. Cutting away the excess wood, the little wooden owl was attached to the tile painting to create an ensemble.
This interesting and unusual piece now resides at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

"Almost Nap Time" by Astrid Paustian
Oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 8" x 8", $175.-
Painting continues around the 2" deep edges.
This is one of a series of chick paintings done from photographs I took at a little family farm after they received their order of 2 day old chicks in the mail. What beautiful creatures they are! And so much personality at the tender age of 2 days.
Not to worry, these chickens will live out their lives on Michelle and Tim's little farm, laying eggs and being loved by the entire family.

Spode Creamer by Pam Holnback
Spode Creamer
6" x 6" oil on panel
$100.00 + $10. s/h
In searching through cabinets, shelves and boxes for pieces of china to paint, or should I say reflections to paint, I realized that I have eleven creamers. Not sure why I have so many, or where they all came from, or where the sugar bowls are, but nevertheless, that's at least eleven daily paintings. So, look for more.
Hermosa Mujer Del Vestido Rojo ~Warriner
Hermosa Mujer Del Vestido Rojo
18 by 24 oil on stretched canvas
this one was a fun change of pace for me working only with palette knife, and using cad red. The Spanish dancer was spotted at the Castle Rock parade last summer. I was thrilled and immediately got out my camera to catch them in action.

Well, since I was looking at all those floral photos again... I decided to do another one of my own floral pots that I had growing by the side of the building this summer. Since I always 'over-plant' all my pots, I hope that comes across in this painting. Again I used pallet knives to paint this piece, and it has lots of thick, juicy, colorful paint applied to the board painting surface. This was a fun little piece to paint, I hope you enjoy it also. "A WINTERS DAY," daily painter winter snow painting © Carol Nelson Fine Art

| "A WINTERS DAY" |
I always liked this painting. I think I like it because of the perspective, but also because the scene at Cherry Creek State Park is very close to my home in Colorado.
If the sun is this bright, the cold doesn't seem to matter as much. This painting is sold, but I have many others on my website.
