Kestrel Weathers the Storm by Kate Dardine

A couple of weeks ago a little sparrowhawk found refuge on my porch from the blowing snow. He stayed there for a couple of hours, flying away when I came too close to the window to try and take his picture, but then returning to shelter. I wondered why this beautiful kestrel had come to visit that day.

Sometimes animals bring messages to those who take the time to listen. The kestrel teaches us how to discover our personal rhythm and respond to it accordingly. When the kestrel appears it might be asking you to stimulate your mental faculties and move quickly and gracefully into your desired future. It teaches you to listen to the rhythm of each situation and commit to your actions for the greatest success.
