An overcast winter day creates a number of challenges for me: especially muted colors and low contrast. Working from a photo I took while visiting my daughter in Enterprise, I really had to concentrate on not over-saturating my colors. Anyone who knows my paintings knows I love color, bright and bold. However, I liked the feeling in the photograph of imminent snow...so I thought I'd give it a try.
