Some thoughts on original art: No print, no photograph, no reproduction can capture the intensity and vibrancy of real, original art.

Before there were mass produced prints, everyone owned art. It was either made by themselves or they bought it. It enhanced their homes like the aroma of a just-baked pie, or like the Steinway in the parlor. Each piece was unique. Each original floral or portrait, still life or landscape had a story. They all meant something.

Today, artists from all walks can represent themselves with not much more than a digital camera and an internet connection. Original art isn't just for doctors and lawyers and such. Everyone can have real art for the price of a print.

Thank you for looking.
