The other night I decided to just play with paint and see where it took me...and here are the results. I like the playful quality of the piece, and the fact that it is a departure from what I usually do. That is the whole point of just allowing myself to paint without censor. Sometimes I stumble on a new technique, sometimes I just make a mess. Either outcome is okay - it is all about the process of allowing creativity to have free rein.
