It has been a little while since I was able to post anything. There are those times when life gets in the way of my true love, but I always return and it feels like seeing an old friend after awhile. There is catch up and joy at the reunion. This is how I feel when I get to cast aside the worries of life and visit my creativity.
"Pine Shadows" is 8x16 on canvas. I always use acrylic as the medium to enhance the piece. I began with a collage ground over the canvas and painted, sanded, and painted some more before I added the paper trees and then highlighted the trunks with paint. You can find this piece on my website.
