Be yourself and choose subjects, painting approaches, colors and styles that you prefer. By doing this, I believe "YOU" will shine through your paintings, as only you can. As great as other painters may be, you don't really want to be them. Be your authentic self! You may not please everyone, but is that what your really want or do you want to be happy and pleased with your own paintings?
