Who can resist a lovely bunch of peach poppies? The color alone seems to stop folks in their tracks to stop and admire them. I found these poppies in a lovely street side garden earlier this summer. For this painting I used an oil wash for the background, brushwork on the background flowers and a pallet knife for the poppies in the foreground.
