Oil on canvas, 8" x 8", $150.-
Tulips are some of my favorite flowers. I love their simple shapes and bold colors, especially when the sun shines through the delicate petals.
I am always amazed how the hardy blooms withstand the ever changing spring weather,
opening during sunny days and closing back up at night and during snow storms.
As I happily anticipate spring and all the wonderful subjects to paint, tragedy persists in Japan and other parts of the world.
All profits from the sale of this painting will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross.
