Contemporary Impressionist Landscape Oil Painting “Quiet Renewal” by Colorado Contemporary Fine Artist Jody Ahrens

This is my second major piece for the 2021 Governor's Show in Loveland, CO. As fall approaches in the extremely cold high country, grasses die back, aspens drop their leaves and evergreens increase sugars in their cells so they won’t freeze. Each species copes and adapts in their own unique way with as little harm to others as possible.
