We don't have little guys like this here in Denver, but close cousins without the extra splash of hair on the ears. Extra hair or not they all share the playful characteristic which I find always entertaining.
plan to donate the sales of the next 5 daily paintings and any other previous unsold Daily paintings I sell this week to the Colorado Flood Relief Fund. The situation is dire in the flooded areas and everyone needs our help. Please help me help them on a road to recovery. I will email each generous purchaser their painting with the details of where the proceeds of the paintings were donated.
Thank you for your generosity in advance. I know working together can bring a flood of relief and well being to the victims of this devastating event.
This is a scene from Paris. I was just trying to capture the essence of the scene in the cafe. Both the individuals were just so relaxed enjoying each others company. That sums up most of my experience in
Paris.
An energetic composition from the beautiful city of Sacramento California. I enjoy using the figures as elements of realism in an otherwise abstracted portrayal.

I came across some pictures of chickens I took while on vacation in St Thomas. The Chickens were pretty abundant and some more colorful than others. This particular specimen was ready for the red carpet!
I came across this fella while on vacation. He was watching everything and everybody going in and out of this art gallery. He was a great greeter for the gallery and his name was Winston!
I took a wonderful trip to Provincetown MA. this summer and have done a wonderful series of paintings. Most of the daily paintings are of the beach and the spectacular gardens. My larger pieces are of street scenes of the quaint town. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did painting them.
I was just thumbing through some of my pictures from various road trips through Colorado and came upon a few photographs of sheep. I saw this one and knew it was the one to paint today. I'm finding that painting animals is becoming quite a passion for me. This is somewhat surprizing to me because I am such a city boy.

I never know when I sit down to paint what I'm going to be inspired by that day. In this case it was the urban environment but more so the figure waiting to cross the street. Her clothing and umbrella dominated the composition making the city take a back seat. I quite like that.
