I've been visiting my parents this week so haven't had a chance to paint, but I've been visiting a few paintings I've done in recent days for my parents. This was my first pair of baby shoes. I am part Cherokee and my family is big on our history. I loved them when my mother gave them to me, so I painted them for her as a gift. This is a 6x6" 1 1/4" gallery wrapped canvas that I painted around.
