Moving Metals/ MTN Falls.
Abstract Expressionist painting on 24x24x2 gallery wrapped canvas. This painting was inspired by a recent trip to Vail. One of my favorite spots on the way home, is a place high up on the mountain of lush green trees with a waterfall unexpectedly tucked between trees. All you see is the green and brown of the trees and white water, which is a stark contrast. When "pouring"
paint, knowing how you want the paint to move, and getting it to move that way are two entirely different things. I was not able to achieve my objective in this piece, so I will try again, but it's still a beautiful "earthy" piece with it's own story to tell.
