This painting began as a gesture drawing, just a loose idea of “horse.” The horse that emerged is one that has appeared in many of my dreams, usually at a time of growth and transition in my life. So the name “Passage” refers to that. I’ve purposely kept the drawing loose, the painting somewhat unfinished. To me, the passage, or time of transition, is always incomplete."Passage" is 8x8, oil on gallery-wrapped canvas. $225. Click here to purchase using PayPal, or contact me for more information.
