with paper cast from original handmade mold...and a stick...:)

This little 4x4 fiberboard wax collage has the added element of a new paper cast bird from a handmade mold.  I like the primitive nature of this little piece.  This is a 3-D card for my mother's 2nd Joy Day.  She now calls them Joy Days instead of birthdays which is perfect since her name is Joy and she is that...A JOY!  It was my mother that always told me I could do anything I wanted...and, I wanted to do art...so a thank you to my most wonderful and joyful mother!!
