"Orthodox Easter", Contemporary Oil Painting, Dennis Kotelko Art, Young Child, Candles
When I was a child my family attended a Ukrainian Eastern Orthodox Church in Canada. Easter was a big Holiday, starting with a sunrise service, many candles, priests in long robes and vestments, and incense. After there was a blessing of Easter eggs, ham, and Easter breads.
The youngster in this painting looks tired and wants to just get home for the big food feast.
12"x12" oil on canvas, available for $100, includes S&H. Contact me at Kotelko@aol.com
