"A Poppy A Day" by Karla Nolan, oil painting on canvas

I started a salon class with a marvelous lady, Lani Vlaanderen, yesterday and amazingly forgot to bring my palette knives!  That is a first.  So I was FORCED to confront painting with brushes.  I decided to be big about this and attack the canvas with the paintbrushes which I've had for quite some time -- was I successful?  I think so.  In fact, I now wonder why in the world I've hated brushes so much for such a long time.  Why don't you tell me what you think?

By the way, I have a new pricing policy in place on my oil paintings (unframed) -- please click on KarlaNolanBlogspot below for more details -- thank you.

"A Poppy A Day" 16"x16" oil painting (with brushes!) on canvas panel, $290 plus s&h in N. America (to be determined at time of sale), Paypal accepted,  write me for invoice or for more info at KarlaNolan@gmail.com
