Here is a second painting in a diptych and a detail of it - you can see the remnants of golden Fall leaves and reflections of the remaining foliage in the background. Soon - it will be winter.
When I work on a heavily textured painting I like to use the flexible modeling paste (made by Liquitex) on canvas. This paste is formulated to be able to stretch and not crack if the canvas or paint undergo some environmental changes.
