Our yard has become a favorite drinking and bathing spot for many birds since we got a heated bird bath a couple of years ago. It is heated to 34 degrees Fahrenheit, so it does not freeze. Sometimes, huge flocks of Robins stop by, by the dozens and maybe even hundreds, like a scene from the movie "Birds", although these birds are quite lovable, if a little messy in such large numbers.
