Two days ago I finished this painting and was excited to post. It appears that poppy fever has hit , because two other postings were poppy paintings. I guess they are the favorites of many people. I have a hard time deciding if Oriental, Flanders or California poppies are my favorite. These are Oriental and always a pleasing sight in the garden in June. This painting measures 12 x 16 and is a cradled panel. The cradle measures 1 1/2 " in depth and is stained a natural pecan to match the painting.
