I was plein air painting one early morning and had set up my easel in front of an old barn. I kept hearing a mother cat making a fuss and pacing around my area. It took me some time to realize that she was talking to me and wanted me away from her sleeping babies. I decided to paint the sweet little kittens rather than the barn on that day. It turned out to be very rewarding.
