Silence was deep and encircling while standing on the icy-bank of Libby Creek in Snowy Range Mountains, Albany County, Wyoming...temperature -13 degrees, The delicate-tinkling-sound water makes as it travels slowly under the ice on a very cold day...bright sun causing the lodgdpole pines to create cobalt shadows on the snow. Sometimes all it takes is love of where you live to make a day special for painting.
