Some of you will remember this piece, or think it looks familiar. It is
the colorized version of my value study piece. The original piece was
just in shades of gray and black---I will post it at the bottom. I have
had this painting sitting around the studio for months, always intending
to eventually add the color to it, and today was the day. That splash
of red on the wing is just what this painting needed, no wonder nature
