Sometimes a painting just does what it wants, and this one went not only out of the box for me, but out of the barn, too! I had a lot of fun playing with cool colors on top of a surface of gesso with pumice. That makes for interesting lines in the pastel. I hope you enjoy it! "Blue Barn", an original 16x20 landscape pastel by Colorado artist, Barbara Churchley
