The scene depicts a lovely hidden spring that is behind big Cottonwood trees and deep in the meadow within a mountain valley. The cattle and sheep wander at will back and forth for their daily watering. The locals of the valley are aware of the pure water but outsiders rarely get to view the beautiful pastoral scene.
