This
painting just won an Honorable Mention at the Art from the Heart Show
at Front Range Community College, College Hill Library, and sponsored by
the Paletteers Art Club. I was very excited to have this work
recognized. I loved painting the rock faces and had to mentally work
through the dark areas on both sides and how much to leave less
detailed. I think I finally got the right balance that would lead the
viewer's eyes to the rushing texture of the waterfall which pools and
then keeps on falling. I hope you like it as much as I do!
