Contemporary Impressionist Landscape Painting, “Yellow Hillside” by Colorado Fine Artist Jody Ahrens
An intriguing little stand of Black Timber thrives because their roots are anchored deep into cracks in the rocks. As decomposition occurs, rich soil is created allowing tiny plants to thrive. This golden hillside is in the process of evolving. Some of the rocks have been covered by a new layer of humic compost.
