Italy Walk 7 x 5 Acrylic Urban Landscape of Venice Italy

I am trying to get back into the swing of my Daily Paintings, Ive missed painting them greatly.  I have moved my gallery and held its grand opening last weekend.  Now, my intention  is focusing on  my own work and aspirations artistically. So, in doing so this first daily is painted from my trip to Italy and is actually in Venice. My favorite time of day is late afternoon and dusk any where I happen to be and this was no exception. I hope you enjoy the contrast in the light as much as I do.

Province Garden Acrylic 5 x 7 Floral Landscape Painting in Provincetown MA

The flower gardens in Provincetown were amazing. I was quite taken with the lush beautiful hydrangeas. The colors were so Walt Disney bright the challenge for me was painting them and making them look believable. Quite the fun experience!
