Contemporary Colorado Aspen Tree Landscape Painting "As The Sun Rises" by Contemporary Realism Artist Carol A. McIntyre

Last February, I woke up early to go out and chase the full moon as the sun rose while taking photographs. It was a sight to behold. At an elevation of over 7,000ft, the blue and purple colors shine with glory. "As the Sun Rises," is one of my interpretations of that winter morning.
Notice that I used warm colors for a cold morning. Does this makes sense to you or seem contradictory?
The mountain in the painting is Pike's Peak, which serves as an inspiration to all of us who live in this region of Colorado.
This painting is gallery wrapped, which means it does not need to be framed and is ready to hang.
24"x48"x1" Oil on Canvas/Available
