This painting was painted as an entry into a plein-air competition during a rain storm. I had started painting a little pioneer home and then a huge wind and rain storm swept through the valley. I decided to scrape off the old paint and paint the robins picking up worms while I sat in the back of my Outback waiting for the sunshine to reappear. This painting sells for $199 unframed.
