SOLD This is an original oil on a panel that measures 12 x 16 unframed. This painting was done during the Teton Plein Air competition in Jackson Hole, Wyoming during  July 2012. I was trying to find a great setting for flowers and came across these hollyhocks in bloom against the heat of a barn. It was unusually hot for Jackson Hole at 90 degrees. This is an original en plein aire oil painting rendered on the seond bridge in Eleven Mile Canyon , Colorado. This river is an outlet to the Eleven Mile Reservoir which is known for some of the biggest fish in Colorado. The scenery is spectacular with large boulders and clear mountain water. It's worth the trip just to see this icon of Colorado.
