painting is of a little grove of aspen on the road toward Mt. Evans, Colorado.
The aspens have a root system that sends up “shoots” to make new trees. These
are probably all connected by the same root system…family, so to speak!

is from a photo my husband took on the way up to Mt. Evans. We went to see the
“colors” and it was pure ‘eye-candy’ up in the mountains. I used Wallis sanded
