I just finished painting this sweet painting and got it framed yesterday. I took the reference photo this summer from my back porch during a glorious sunrise. My neighbor saw it this afternoon and bought it on the spot...of course it is her view as well. I couldn't have asked for a better home for it. It will be appreciated!

I used Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels. This painting is matted and framed, ready for hanging. Although, if purchased matted but unframed, the shipping would be less. It will fit in a standard-sized frame.

This little painting is of a little grove of aspen on the road toward Mt. Evans, Colorado. The aspens have a root system that sends up “shoots” to make new trees. These are probably all connected by the same root system…family, so to speak!
