This was painted from memories of roaming around the Colorado mountains. The thickness of the forest gives way to sparser landscape opening it's canopy to blue of the sky. I treated the canvas for added texture and used acrylic paints. This painting doesn't need a frame. It's ready to hang on the wall or display on an easel.
