Earlier this year I started painting a series of five 7 x 7 paintings that I intended to group together to form one piece, they were the Flower Box Series. And shortly before my last art show in Las Cruses, NM, I managed to mount these paintings on a beveled board. This photo does not do the piece justice, you cannot see the vivid colors and thickly textural pallet knife strokes, but you can get an idea of where I was going for one of these series pieces. I plan to do some other paintings in this format, but with other subject matter. If you are interested in a similar piece, either horizontal or vertical, please contact me. This painting is for sale for $750.00. All these flowers must mean it is Easter and springtime!
