This painting evolved very quickly - I love it when that happens. I had a painting on a textured canvas that was not working, so I stopped trying to “fix it.” With new abandon, and a big brush, I just started layering color over the previous work. Very quickly, it seemed, this new composition came into view. I worked all day and evening on it. The next day I did some fine tweaking, and - voila! - a new painting was born.
