Sunburst Sunflower, another sold painting

SunBurst Sunflower
6x6 inches, original oil painting

This painting is filled with thick strokes of paint applied with my painting knives. It really looks like a sunburst or fireworks exploding when you view it up close. I recently sold this painting at the reception at the opening of my gallery show, Susan Spohn - On Review, held at the Paquette Gallery in Salida, CO. 'Bunny Garden', original oil painting by Susan Spohn

Garden Bunny
30 x 30 inches, original oil
This painting reminds me of a happy bedtime story. Although when I first started to paint, I was only interested in the flowers in this garden. Somehow, a bunny hopped out of a tunnel deep in the middle of all the leaves.... This painting is for sale for $800.00 and would make a nice Valentine's gift with white and red flowers and bunny kisses! Visit my website to purchase. SpohnStudio.com

Susan Spohn -- Pink Geranium

Pink Geranium
5.5 x 9 inches
oil on watercolor paper mounted on wood panel

This delightful floral was painted in the early spring. It is painted on watercolor paper and needed to be mounted to my wood panels. I finally had enough time to get this accomplished and will add this painting to my inventory for my upcoming art show in Manitou Springs.

Pink Geranium, is another textural floral painted mainly with a painting knife. Contact me to purchase, or visit my booth at the art show, Commonwheel Labor Day Festival in Memorial Park, Manitou Springs, Colorado.
