Sunburst Sunflower, another sold painting

SunBurst Sunflower

6x6 inches, original oil painting

This painting is filled with thick strokes of paint applied with my painting knives. It really looks like a sunburst or fireworks exploding when you view it up close. I recently sold this painting at the reception at the opening of my gallery show, Susan Spohn - On Review, held at the Paquette Gallery in Salida, CO. Chicken Hearted, a recently sold painting...

Chicken Hearted

6x6 inches, original oil painting

SOLD

I sold this painting recently at my one woman show in the Paquette Gallery here in Salida, CO. I sold other paintings also and will post a few more images in the coming days. This painting reminded me of 'playing chicken' when we were young. Visit my website to view more images of my work.  SpohnStudio.com
