"Shyanne" is a 24x24 oil on gallery wrapped canvas. She is one of my favorite horses to paint - just enough white on her to reflect the colors around her and enough "color" to make her interesting. This painting can be purchased directly from my website using Pay Pal.
The crow is an extremely intelligent bird, capable of analyzing situations and using tools if necessary to accomplish what it needs. In this painting I imagined the crow contemplating the significance of numbers. "Counting Crow" is a 10x10 oil on gallery-wrapped canvas, $325.
The latest painting in the dreamscapes series--landscapes remembered and imagined from the southwest. These whimsical landscapes explore the infinite shapes and colors of the mountains and mesas.
Greetings! I'm new here at Daily Painters of Colorado and oh so happy to be here. I paint (nearly) every day. Now that Spring is finally, firmly here in my part of Colorado and New Mexico I'm painting outside. I especially love, love, love painting flowers and I try to give them a "mood". If you have any questions or would like to see more of my work check out my website at: www.annieobriengonzales.com or email me: anniego@mac.com Check back on this site for new things every week.
This is a detail of a painting I am currently working on. The painting shows the whole wolf, but I am liking this cropped version and am thinking of doing a painting - maybe 30x30, with this crop. If you are interested in reading about my painting process, I invite you to read my online journal. You can also subscribe to my journal and have my updates delivered right to your internet home page or your email.
